We are manufacturers of Double Girder EOT Cranes in India under our brand name ‘HERC’. Being in this business for the past 40 years our directors have immense experience and knowledge about these cranes.HERC overhead traveling cranes are designed and manufactured in accordance with IS:3177 or IS:4137 and classes ranging from M1-M8, considering adequate factor of safety with respect to appropriate duty classifications. The structural parts of HERCULES industrial cranes are designed in accordance with IS 807.
Capacity Range:

HERC Material Handling from capacities ranging from 1 Ton to 125 Tons and spans upto 30 Mtrs.

Standard Feature: 
In case of Double Girder Crane, a crab is used for hoisting and cross traversing machinery move on the top of two bridge girders. The bridge girders could be of box type construction made from rolled plates or made of standard rolled section depending on the capacity and span of the crane.

The hoisting unit in our Hercules Double Girder EOT Crane is made from fabricated and machined rope drum housing with left hand and right hand grooves to achieve true vertical lift and balanced lifting.

The rope drum of our Double Girder Electrically operated Travelling crane is connected to total enclosed helical gearbox through flexible drum coupling. Our gearbox is driven by a S4 Crane duty squirrel cage induction type or slip ring type motor with fail safe hydraulically operated thrust or brake or DC electromagnetic disc brake is provided on an extended shaft of motor to prevent accidental lowering of load in the event of power failure.

HERC Material Handling also gives its customer an option to have an Auxiliary Hoist (AH) along with the Main Hoist (MH) with two different capacities on the same crab trolley making it easier for the client to use a smaller capacity whenever required to save power or use both capacities simultaneously to use the crane to its optimum capacity for applications like bucket or ladle tilting.

The cross travel machinery comprises of motor gearbox and brake unit which is coupled to our LT wheel assemblies with live axles. The bearings are housed in L type of bearing housings which are provided for heavy duty application.

Hercules EOT Cranes are provided with a full length walkway platform along the bridge girder of the crane making it easier for our clients to maintain the crane time to time for trouble free performance on these cranes.

Operation of Hercules Double Girder Cranes can be done from floor through Pendant Push Buttons, Open cabin, totally enclosed cabin. For operators safety we can provide our control voltage at 110/24V. Our Electrical switch gear are mounted inside dust proof control panels which are mounted on the walkway platforms for ease of maintenance.

Our Double Girder EOT Cranes can be supplied with dual speeds using VVF drives for specific applications that our clients may have.

HERC Material Handling Cranes are manufacturers of special steel mill duty ladle handling application cranes. The wire rope arrangement can be supplied with Four rope independent suspension to prevent falling of load in case of failure of one wire rope. The hoisting gearbox is supplied with integral planetary arrangement and two hoisting motors and brakes to achieve hoisting motion at 50% of full speed in case of failure of one hoisting motor. Planetary gearbox can also be supplied for operating 4 rope grab bucket to achieve hoisting as well as grab opening / closing operations.

HERC Material Handling also are manufacturers of scrap charging cranes for steel plants. We manufacture these class IV duty cranes conforming to IS:4137, IS 3177, IS 807. These cranes have extra safety features and have higher speed as compared to our normal double girder cranes. We can manufacture these cranes for high lifts as well.
