Electric Wire Rope Hoists are widely used by industries in India. We design Wire Rope Electric Hoists as per IS 3938 Class II duty operations and have found repetitive use under most severe operating conditions. Also, we manufacture and design special hoists on request for higher lifts, faster hoisting and cross travel speed and moveable on curved tracks. Creep Speed Hoists & FLP Hoists are also manufactured.
Motors: We offer Hoist & Crane S4 duty rated squirrel cage induction motors, confirming to IS 325 with comparatively higher H.P. and higher starting torque to reduce handling time. It is flange mounted with Class B or F insulation to suit our design.
Rope Drum: The rope drum is made of seamless pipe machines grooved accurately ensuring proper seating of wire rope in a proper layer. The drum is fitted with two heavy duty Ball / Roller bearings for smooth operation & longer life.
Rope Guide: Rope guide is made of special close grain castings accurately designed and machined to suit the grooves of the rope drum preventing the rope from overriding & loosening. The guide is designed ensuring proper tension of the rope.
Gear Box: It is enclosed oil splashed lubricated and dust free gear box, provided for smooth trouble free life. The box has helical type gears cut from alloy steel / low carbon steel on hobbling machines designed to achieve higher precision. The gears are supported by anti-friction bearings on both ends. The process of gear toughening ensures smooth, silent, trouble-free running of drive system for years together.
Modular Construction: The design is modular and its maintenance is easy as each component is accessible easily in its installed position, thus ensuring minimal downtime maintenance period.The independent and easily accessible units are brake, motors, gear box & Control panel. The maintenance of hoist is easy, by keeping it on installed position, saving time and labor.
Bearings: Heavy duty ball / roller bearings of reputed makes are used on all rotating parts and are grease packed for longer life of the product.
Trolley: Push-pull, Hand Geared or Motorized Trolleys are adjustable type and are fitted with ball bearings to suit the recommended size of I-Beams.
Hooks: Heavy duty high tensile steel forged hooks are fitted to make a free rotation.
Brakes: They are mounted on the rear end of the motor for easy maintenance. Heavy duty 3 phase DC fail safe electromagnetic disc type brakes are provided on hoisting motion which is held close to sustain the full load when current supply is switched off either accidentally or intentionally. Brakes for CT available also.
Limit Switch: Snap action limit switches are provided to avoid over hoisting & over lowering actuated by rope guide.
Control Panel: It consists of metal sheet and are provided with reputed make triple reversing contractors. Triple pole thermal Overload relays of auto reset type is provided in power circuit. Step down transformers to give 24 /110 Volts for pendant control. Cartridge Type Fuses.
Testing: The components of hoist are subjected to strict quality control procedures. And the hoist is tested to 25% overload before dispatch.
Safety: A s workmen safety is of utmost importance we give only 24V as Control Voltage thus ensuring complete safety to the workmen.

S4 crane duty motors confirming to IS 325 with lower RPM helping in save the power for the client as far as possible and making he machine an economical wire rope hoist.
DC Fail safe Electro magnetic disc brakes which automatically operate in case of any power failure and avoid coil burn outs incase of fluctuations making the wire rope hoists able to give a trouble free performance and safety.
Accurately machined rope drum with LH/RH threading helping the electric hoist to always maintain the load in the centre and be a balanced machine. Push button stations operating at the step down the voltage of 24 V for complete operator safety while using the wire rope hoist. Radio remote are also available at an extra price for the ease of operation for the operator for Hercules wire rope hoist.
Different range of speeds is available for the hoists making it a customised wire rope hoist for our clients.Hercules Electric hoists are also available with IP55 control panel making it apt for outdoor usage. Limit switches are a standard fitment for hoisting. Limit switches for Cross travel can be provided as well.
